While you try to survive, you will encounter mean people who will want to steal your things.  You will also deal with things like limited resources and a lack of professional medical care.
 
The three things you do not want to run out of is food and water.  You will have to conserve your resources.  Another thing you will have to do is keep up with your stuff.  Don't set it down somewhere and forget. Your stuff will most likely get stolen unless you are vigilant.

Watch out for these things, as they are the most dangerous:
